Five sentences about me…

An Illinois native, I live in central Illinois with my husband who I've called my best friend since preschool, and our two daughters.

We are huge outdoors lovers and enjoy hiking and planting huge gardens during the summer. During my free time, you can find me reading business-building and self-help books (my fav) or listening to a podcast. I have always been very career driven but in 2016 after giving birth to our oldest I started a business that has grown into a sincere passion of mine. My business has brought me to meet incredible women in the fertility world and allowed me to spend more time with my daughters for which I am eternally grateful.

Five sentences about what I've endured in the fertility realm...

As a young teen, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I suffered terrible cycles that resulted in multiple specialty appointments and tests such as checking for two uteruses, deficiencies, and multiple other things. There were no medications out there that eased my discomfort and would put me at home for the first few days. I was told at that time that getting pregnant would be a miracle and assistance would be needed as my uterus had been through a whirlwind of rough cycles and imbalanced hormones.

After giving birth to my oldest, I was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and severe thyroid issues. This affected my hormones even more and after seeing several fertility specialists they told me that my hormones were too off balance to conceive again.

After 7 years, I got rid of all my baby items and lost a lot of hope. I wanted to at least begin to heal myself from my autoimmune disorder so I chose a more natural diet and really focused on internal health. My bloodwork began to improve immensely and eventually, I was considered autoimmune-free. My husband and I gave birth to our surprise in February of 2023.

I understand that diet and lifestyle adjustments don’t make a miracle for everyone my heart reaches out to those - but for me it worked and I am eternally grateful.
