I am the founder of a nonprofit organization called Men's Helpline which provides all emotional support to men who struggle through miscarriage and infertility. I have BA from Queens College in Political science and a Masters degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I currently live in Israel with my wife and 2 children. I love sports and enjoy music. I play the Saxophone, Piano, and Sing. I'm a volunteer EMT, love to be social and really enjoy food and travel.

Five sentences about what I've endured in the fertility realm...

My wife and I started our journey because we found out that we found out that we were both carriers for two of the same genetic conditions. We did IVF with PGD so that we could have all our embryos screened for those conditions. We had each of our parents give in blood samples so they could trace the gene and make a plan. When the embryos were being labeled healthy or not, the secretary mislabeled them all. This resulted in 1. Losing our first pregnancy because of the genetic condition, and 2. Our oldest child being born with a condition we were trying to circumvent.

One thing I wish I knew going into my fertility journey...

Science isn't perfect and mistakes can happen.

One thing about me that is forever changed because of my fertility journey...

I am more understanding of other men who are going through a Miscarriage or Infertility journey.

One funny moment or anecdote from my fertility journey...

During the egg retrieval it was my job to give a semen sample and while I was in the room, and in the middle of giving my sample someone who worked at the hospital walked in on me by accident.

One product, practice, or ritual I adopted during my fertility journey, which I have/have not kept a part of my life...

Every time that I go to an ultrasound the first question I always ask is "is there a heartbeat" I don't look at the ultrasound at all until I get the answer to that question. I have kept that practice even without IVF being involved.
