We know how important it is to amplify the voices and stories of those in our community. The warriors featured here have been to hell and back and live to tell the tale. They are formidable in their strength, resolve, and sheer grit. May we all find a piece of ourselves in their narratives and feel some comfort and support in knowing that we are not alone.
We flew to India 3 days before our baby was born. We met our egg donor in person and all were there for the birth (which was a mandatory C section due to their rules). Then, after we proved that the baby was ours (genetic test), we were ready to fly home. But India was not ready to let us leave. It was a legal battle.
